What we collect (very little)
Nothing you type. There are no signup forms, comment boxes, or account systems on this site. Downloading the Planner Kit requires no email address or personal information of any kind.
Standard server logs. Like virtually every website, the server that hosts GardenAtAnyAge.com automatically records basic technical information about requests — such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use these logs only for security and to keep the site running, and they are routinely deleted. We do not use them to identify or profile visitors.
Content delivery. This site is served through Cloudflare, a content delivery network, which processes request data (such as IP addresses) as a technical necessity to deliver pages quickly and block malicious traffic. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in its own privacy policy.
Cookies
We do not set tracking or advertising cookies. Our hosting or CDN may set strictly technical cookies needed for security (for example, bot protection). You can block cookies entirely in your browser and this site will work fine.
If you write to us at [email protected], we'll see your email address and whatever you send — that's how email works. We use it only to reply. We don't add you to any list (we don't have one), and we don't share your address with anyone.
The Planner Kit download
The PDF is served directly from our own server. Clicking the download button transfers the file and nothing else — no signup, no third-party download service, no tracking pixel.
Links to other sites
Our guides link to sources we trust — university extension services, the USDA, and similar references. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy practices apply. We currently have no advertising or affiliate relationships; if that ever changes, we will disclose it clearly on the About page and beside the links themselves, and update this policy.
Children's privacy
This site is written for adult home gardeners and does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 (or anyone else, for that matter).
Your rights
Since we don't hold personal data about visitors, there's usually nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you've emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, just ask and it's done. Residents of California and other jurisdictions with privacy laws: the practices above are the complete picture — we don't sell or share personal information.
Changes to this policy
If our practices ever change — for example, if we add analytics or an email newsletter — we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
